The 16th edition of the traditional Avenidazo turns Avenida Manabí into a free festival featuring eight orchestras across four stages. The Club Esquina de Pérez formal session begins at 19:00, followed by music on all four stages from 20:00. Stage in front of Mi Comisariato: Picoazá Music Band opens and Los Diamantes closes. Stage in front of Club Esquina de Pérez: Chinto Torres opens and Don Medardo y sus Players closes. Callejón Robles stage: Cristian Garcés y su banda opens and Latin Swing closes. Banco del Pacífico corner stage: Combinación Manaba opens and Cumbancheros closes. The festival forms part of Portoviejo’s 206th-independence celebrations.
